It's Wednesday and good music must be shared. Here's what's been on repeat on my Ipod all week:

1. Timing is Everything by Garrett Hedlund

I've been absolutely obsessed with the Country Strong soundtrack and especially with new artist Garrett Hedlund. His voice is amazing and I really like this song from the movie. It's perfect to put on during a car ride or before I go to sleep. It hits a spot somewhere within me and I can't seem to move away from this song.

2.40 Days of Dreaming by Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros

This song sounds so dreamy. I found it whilst watching the trailer for the indie flick 'Skateland.' It definitely has that dreamy 70's roller disco feel to it. It reminds me of summer time and of being carefree. It's pure magic that I couldn't help but download on spot.


3. Crystal Vases by The Last Royals

This song is a product of me listenig to way too much Sirius Alt Nation radio before bed. This song has been playing on there every time I attempt to go to bed. The first time it came on I was half asleep but I knew it was something I'd love when I was more awake. So, I grabbed a pencil and sloppily jotted the song name down. I rediscovered that piece of paper just yesterday and I'm so happy that I documented this cool song.


4. Slide by Goo Goo Dolls (Acoustic Cover)

A boy in my high school talent show did an acoustic cover of this song today. I'm definitely a Goo Goo Doll's fan and I haven't heard this song in forever. Ever since I got back from the talent show the boy's performance hasn't left my mind. So, I had to add this oldie but a goodie to my ipod!


5. Read My Mind by The Killers

Haven't heard this song in a good long while but I every time I listen to it, it takes me back to this magical place of being thirteen or fourteen. I'm upstairs in Meghan's new house with Callie. It's summer and we'rd drawing and writing. This song is on Meghan's ipod because we're just now starting to experiment with music outside of the main stream garbage hole. We've just now discovered the brooding awesomeness of The Killers. At the time, I think I hated this song with a burning passion. Now, I couldn't get enough of it.
