Collegiate Eats;

As a college student, I've quickly come to realize that the freshmen fifteen is nothing worth joking about. As much as I walk around campus, food selections can be pretty hindering to weight loss. Who wants salads and granola when there's a Chik-fil-a, Burger King, Subway, a Mexican Restaurant, Dominos, Starbucks, Wok, and three buffet style dining halls all on campus fully equipped with pizza, burgers, fries, and desserts? Let's not even start with all the new and exciting places to try around town. Three fro-yo places, four ice-cream parlors, endless amounts of pizza places, cafes, barbecue, and greek food galore all in less than a five minute drive.

Here are some yummy snacks I eat to attempt to stave off hunger while not giving in to eating Chik-fil-a fourth night in a row:


Found these at the Ozark Natural Foods store! They're a seriously yummy snack. I'm loving Key Lime and Blueberry Muffin flavored ones!

Greek Yogurt

Perfect for breakfast! I love the honey, blueberry, and raspberry flavored kinds!

Italian Herb Crackers and Cheese

Possibly my favorite snack in the universe! I only allow myself one wedge of cheese per snack session and however many crackers it takes to consume that wedge! Fills me up and I never feel like I'm excessively snacking.

Special K Red Berries Cereal

A bowl of this between classes never disappoints! It's yummy and filling!
