September, you were a busy one. You were so full and so busy. You were overwhelmingly good in some respects and less than stellar in others - but boy did you keep me right on my toes. There was lots of time spent wandering the campus and readjusting to the world of academia. There was so much learning to be done. There was the first overwhelming slew of due dates and social functions to plan around. There was game day to celebrate each and every Friday and one long weekend where I got to see my favorite person, Jack. There was face time dates and lots of retail therapy. There were accidents, trips, and burns. There were failures and triumphs and growth. There were old familiar faces re-entering the picture and news abound. There were DIY flower crowns, cut off shorts, and boots. There was lots of late night fast food runs and probably too many tears on too many occasions to count.

September, you started this unexpected season of change and transition in my life and I'm bracing myself for what's to come.
