Midterms Are For People Who Are Currently More Sane Than I
October 16, 2014
Yep, that radio silence you've been hearing on the blog this week? Totally due to midterms I swear! I've shot a lot of fun content here recently, but just haven't made it around to the editing process due to my crazy academic schedule. For example, these images were supposed to be part of a larger outfit post this week, but that just didn't pan out quite how I wanted. However, I couldn't neglect posting one of my first fall outfits, so here we are.
It's been a whirlwind of long nights, PowerPoint, notes everywhere, meetings, and just trying to keep my head above water. 3 tests and one project due in one week (and on three consecutive days) where I'm required to recall a whole semesters worth of knowledge just feels like a lot. I don't know if my brain can absorb much more.
However, there is a light at the end of that proverbial academic tunnel known as fall break. I get to go home and spend some time with my favorite people, not to mention catch up on my shows and my rest. I feel like it's going to be a much appreciated break. Also, I know a certain five year old who has been waiting for his sister to take him to a pumpkin patch and to the state fair. Fall break is going to be so much fun, I know it!
Coming at you next week, post wise, I'm going to have a really sick golden eyeliner tutorial up and a recipe for an easy apple crisp! I'm so pumped to share! You can get sneak peaks and know when posts go live by following via instagram (@dearielovie). In fact, I've already shared a peak of that golden eyeliner tutorial there!
Also, the week after fall break I get to take mini road trip with my friend Jenny to visit one of my best guy friends. He's visited us twice and it's our turn to return the favor. Best of all, that weekend also coincides with Halloween weekend! It couldn't have worked out any better! Then the weekend after Halloween weekend? My former roommate and still very good friend will be coming to be visit me! She moved back to her hometown after last fall semester and I haven't seen her since. It's been far too long and the snapchatting and occasional texting just aren't cutting it anymore.
There are so many good, wonderful things on the horizon! I just need to relax and get through these next few tests without losing anymore of my sanity.
Hope y'all have been having the best week!
