Cubicle Fancy Week Two;
June 27, 2011
Cubicle Fancy has been a great success and I cannot thank you all enough for your kind comments! I get more and more excited thinking about how I can mix and match pieces or re-invent outfits each and every day! My office wardrobe and my personal style are bleeding together to create a fun new hybrid wardrobe. This week covers another basic office staple and how to go from work to summer casual in a snap!
Look one is the work savvy outfit. I have a high-waisted pair of black pants, the ruffled button down tucked in, and underneath a simple black camisole. A textured black and blue headband in my messy locks gives off more of a prim and proper vibe, while heels give me height, and the fake pearls gives me some drama. I've probably worn this look to the office two or three times. It's basic and with a few fun twists can be pretty cute too!
Look two takes the same light blue ruffled button down and makes it summer casual. Staying stylish while going to the lake or hanging out at the pool is so easy! I paired the button down with my favorite black halter bikini top. I added a pair of thrifted black shorts and my favorite black braided gladiator flip-flops. I keep my natural hair texture for a breezy summer getaway sort of vibe. This look is so comfy, casual, and I still feel chic. Who knew office essentials could be summer essentials too? Great Success!

{Also, 'm so excited for next week when I show you how I 'dress down' my fanciest, too-glamorous for the office pieces in my wardrobe so that they're work appropriate. Stay tuned!}
