It's been about a year since I reintroduced myself to y'all (like officially), so I thought that with the new blog look it was time to reintroduce myself yet again. 

However, first let's have a small chit chat about changes on the blog.

First and foremost, how much are we digging the new space? I know I certainly am! I love being able to experiment with colors and looks for my blog and I can say confidently that this is one of my many faces. I really enjoyed my last blog set-up, but it was time for a change. In addition, it was time to give the whole site an update and reorganize everything. The most important update was the addition of a contact page, where you have access to literally almost every link you'd ever need to reach me or navigate this site. If you click on my main sidebar image, you'll be taken to the 'about me' page (just a tip). I have social media icons available to you under that main image (just in case you'd like to stalk me full time) and further down a navigation list where you can find the contact page, about me, a list of regular features, sponsorship info, and a link to follow the blog with ease via bloglovin! 

Currently, there are no sponsors, but I have twenty spots available (you can get your ad up and running today...no waiting til the first of the month)! All ads are just $5. Now on to the personal stuff...

My name is Ashlee. I'm a full time student attending the University of Arkansas. I'm pursuing art, more specifically graphic design. I live three hours away from home, family (this includes Spot the dog), and from my favorite person in the world, my brother Jack! I call my Dad almost everyday just to chat, one could call him my best friend. Jack is the highlight of my existence. He's completely full of light and he's a total mess. This summer he will turn four and I am completely amazed at how fast my 'buddha bear' has grown up. Someone just make it stop! It's like I'm his second Momma. Recently, I've started sending him a card a week so that he knows I'm thinking about him.

There's nothing more that inspires me more than creative, goal oriented women who are driven. I look up to so many small business owners and bloggers. I hope to be able to pursue my goals and dreams in a similar fashion. 

Let's see, I'm in a sorority and I'm pretty obsessed with it. I played softball for 11 years, quitting only when I got to college. I'm usually running around like a hot mess. I'm horribly forgetful, I lose everything I seem to touch. I'm a list maker by nature...but I typically lose my lists, so there's that. This year I'm participating in Moorea's 52 Lists chellenge, so hopefully that will help me keep up with them! I'm a pretty obsessive type of person. When I get on something, I'm on it...but I get obsessive about weird things like The French Revolution, Sylvia Plath, certain songs/movies and  everyday rituals (like having a bacon turkey wrap for lunch every day). 

I'm big on tea, reading for personal enjoyment, and striving to write daily. I hate driving, but had to start out of necessity. I'm 1/4 Japanese and most would describe me as being fairly quiet and bookish until you get to know me.Truthfully, I don't let a whole mess of people in. There's just got to be that something about you that instantly draws me in. I'm one of those people that are quite content being alone/by themselves. I'm also quite blunt and sarcastic when it comes down to it and I take disappointments to heart much more frequently than I should. I'm bad at lots of things and I have a bad habit of starting something and not finishing it, but I'm working on that.

I'm a pretty normal individual. I'm a gut feeling type of gal who is basically living the dream. I go to school, have a loving/super supportive family, have good friends to go out with, a roof over my head, a car to drive, and am getting to pursue a major I'm passionate about. I run around 98% of the time in an over-sized shirt and some sort of comfort pant, losing things and making lists.
