(gnarly icicles hanging off the sorority house)
Reading - I just re-read Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins after seeing Catching Fire in theaters twice. I read Mockingjay the first time three years ago when I got the book set, but I needed a reminder of how everything ended. I gobbled it up in two days and am now reading Tumble & Fall by Alexandra Coutts mindlessly hoping that it will tide me over until Christmas Break. If you have any reading suggestions please throw 'em my way because I could definitely use them for over the break!
Watching - I'm still occupying myself with AHS (American Horror Story) and TVD (The Vampire Diaries). On Netflix I'm stranded somewhere in the middle of season 3 of 90210. Oh, and I watched Daydream Nation on Netflix for about the millionth time a few days ago.
Listening To - Recently, I've become attached to the band Bombay Bicycle Club. They're the perfect background music for finals studying! This song by Sarah Jaffe is perfect too. Also, the classic Christmas music Pandora station has been making me all sorts of happy. I'm embracing the season!
Eating - Lately I've been eating an alarming amount of apple cinnamon oatmeal and soup. Perhaps I'm just craving warm comfort foods during this cold weather? Either way, I'm digging it.
Online Loving - I want all of the prints in this amazing Society 6 shop, K is for Black. My type related Pinterest board is serving as my daily dose of excellent reminders. Who can ever get enough wise words? This haiku about finals had me and my roommates hysterically laughing. Gold liner over black liner is my go-to holiday look, I've decided. Also, this scarf needs to be mine.
Offline Loving - My heating blanket, my Gap knit infinity scarf, quick phone convos with Jack, working late nights at the photo lab, finding new nooks to hide away in, writing (always writing), the promise of Christmas Break, applying for new opportunities, and spending time with new people.
