I know we just made it into March, but in the world of trying to hunt down of a reasonably priced, close-to-campus (preferably on a bus route) apartment that's not ugly and doesn't have appliances from the 90's it's go time. Every person between the ages of 18-22 is on the hunt for the perfect apartment and/or house and it gets super competitive and busy around these parts come spring. You have to start signing leases now for the fall (or else end up in a bad location or end up overpaying by a lot...I know this from personal experience *cue the one time I waited until May to start searching at the end of freshman year*). 

After lots of searching, I think I stumbled upon the just the right perfect-for-me apartment. I'm thrilled. It has almost everything I want and is just the right size and the price is fair. Plus, it's close to campus which I'm happy about. 

So lately, my mind has been swirling with things all apartment decor related. I'm obsessed with clean white walls and pops of color. I love the idea of well made items and a healthy mix of vintage pieces and more modern things. I went and visited a local vintage market recently and obsessed with all of the treasures to be found (plus, it's all so affordable).Since the apartment is unfurnished I really want to invest in a good desk, shelving/book shelf, and a chair or love-seat for the living space. The space isn't huge, so a little bit will go a long way, which I hope will make decorating the space a breeze.

I've storing up lots of inspiration, so that hopefully a lot of my dream decor ideas can happen through a series of thrifting or DIY magic. If y'all have any tips for decorating a small space or any fun DIY's let me know!
