These are a few things I've come to recently acquire:
1. Pleated Blue Dress via Forever21 for sorority rush
2. Stocking up on on-sale scarves for winter via Aerie
3. Half priced gym shorts are also up my ally via Aerie
4. The Night Circus via Barnes & Noble (and recommended by Emma)
5. Fifty Shades Darker via Barnes & Noble
6. Lots of Love
Yay for sale shopping and a girls day with my good friend Jennifer. It's just what I needed. I purchased a solid blue pleat dress because I was in dire need of a solid colored summery dress for sorority rush this upcoming August. One more thing checked off that list! Next, Aerie was having an awesome sale on scarves and since I'm going through a scarf phase myself, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to start stocking up for winter. I even wore my twisted scarf out shopping and got several compliments! Also, I'm a huge fan of nearly half-priced anything...so why not some comfy gym shorts? Maybe they'll serve as my motivation.
In addition to my other purchases, I purchased The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern which was avidly recommended by Emma of Food Coma. This dark, fantasy romantic sort of novel caught my eye instantly and I'm excited to finally have my hands on my very own copy (discounted due to my B&N membership, heck yeah). Lastly, I'm in the middle of reading the second installment in the Fifty Shades of Grey triology, Fifty Shades Darker by EL Stein. It seems like everyone I know is reading these books (including my mother...*shudders*). I read the first one a few months ago at college and due to massive quantities of boredom I'm back for my second helping. Is it obvious that I'm desperately trying to use the summer as an excuse to mark #40 off of the list?
What are some of your recent summer purchases?! Tell me all about them!
