Font Friday

June 14, 2013

The other day one of my favorite bloggers Kara decided to share some of her favorite free fonts. Being inspired by her, I decided to share some free fonts I've used frequently over the past year or two. I go back frequently to Bebas. It's the perfect bold sans-serif for me because it's not too bulky or thin. It's basic and wonderful.

I love Nilland. It's a serif font that can be used in a variety of ways. I love to use it with Learning Curve. Learning Curve is a clean, yet girly font I've used repeatedly in posts here on the blog. Here is an example of Nilland + Learning Curve on the blog.

Nueva Std is a basic font with major versatility. It's currently on my blog (see the side bar). Last but not least, is Homestead. Homestead is one really fun and ridiculously cool font. It has a fondness in my heart after completing this album cover redesign project during my freshman year. My professor and I loved it.

What are some of your favorite fonts?
