Since it's full-fledged summer, Jack and I try and find fun things to do outside (because who really wants to start spending all their outdoor time during the chilly months? Not me!). Most recently we've taken to "laying out," which is really just an excuse to lather on the SPF, make a fun drink, don our swimsuits and play outside. The amount of time it took to take those pictures, was about as long as either of us actually laid. Despite this, we take the towels for novelty. Sometimes we get the water hose out, but other times we're just contented to have our swing set and sidewalk chalk. Jack also really likes listening to music as we play.

Even though it's hot, it's great to get outside and get some fresh air. Instead of shunning the sun, we're trying to embrace it while it lasts with plenty of SPF and water breaks. Also, we can't seem to quit popsicles and ice-cream this summer. So, staying cool has never been an issue for us!
